Attacked

Day 246 - Feb 18

I was attacked today in the worst way. I was attacked so much that I actually ended up walking away from a service opportunity. It’s a long and really difficult thing to explain how Satan could attack me so easily and so severely on any given day, but most of it goes back to my issues of trust and pride. Ryan gave me the opportunity to leave during Switch tonight (while I was in tears) and we had a great discussion about it when he returned home. So while I had originally planned to serve at Switch tonight, God had another plan for my evening and it involved some really great conversation with Ryan. We’re praying together that I can defeat the issue of pride that I struggle with and that I can develop a genuinely trusting relationship with God. Without those two changes, I’m only going to continue to be vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Tonight was a great reminder that there is only one person that I can rely on to get me through the day. His name is Jesus Christ.
